Saying goodbye to the room with a view...

I finally moved away from my crampy two bedroom apartment in Mountlavinia to a spacious but fantastically airy two bedroom on Hill street Dehiwala.

Yes, i will miss the view from the balcony (these are the pictures above), but i wont miss the gloom in the old apartment.' It lacked sufficient natural lighting and proper cross ventilation.

Am ever so happy in this new place, best part is, its just a short walk to the childrens school

Its sparsely furnished and no AC or hot water (thank God) cost of electricity is crippling. My neighbours seem nice, and there are lots of kids for mine to play with.
